Theia
Privacy policy

We respect the right to privacy, and we mean it. In fact, we feel the world is trampling too much on peoples' privacy.

So we want to make it clear that *all* information you share with us on this site is NOT given out to anyone else.

This includes when you provide your email address to us. Your email is needed when signing up, so that you may recover your account if you forget your password, and to take advantage of our extensive notification system (which you can disable if you like).

When you invite or recommend a page to someone, neither you or your friend are added to any mailing lists, and will simply receive a one-time mailing. Additionally, none of the email addresses used for invitations or recommendations will be shared with anyone else.

Subscribing a mailing list simply adds you to the list you have subscribed to. You can remove yourself from any mailing list at anytime by removing yourself wherever the "mailing list" area appears. Again, your email is never shared with anyone, and once you remove yourself from the list, your email is no longer on our server. :)

Providing information for specific downloads is something we do to keep our users up to date (and this too, you may opt out of).

Providing your website is mainly for curiosity sake, because we like to see how people are using Theia. We will *not* add your site to the sites using Theia section, unless you request to be added to it.

Information collected when tampering with powered-by notice

We do occasionally check out sites using Theia to make sure the "powered by" notice hasn't been removed without permission to do so. In fact, we do have a function within Theia which will load up a page on our server, which logs instances of powered-by tampering. The only information collected here is your site's address, the page you came from, and your IP address. We do *not* collect any sensitive information about your server, or act in any way on your files or installation, aside from disabling the site while the footer is removed without permission. No emails are sent from your server when this happens either; a page on sikosoft.net is simply loaded in the background using file_get_contents().
