Though somewhat of a hidden and not very well documented feature in Theia, there exists such a tool in all versions of Theia that allows you to view the rise and fall of page views and unique visitors in a graph.
There are a few breakdowns, based on how many days you want to cover, but up until now it's all just been thrown onto the page in somewhat of an unorganized manner.
Now (in the upcoming version) things have been cleaned up a bit and jQuery has been used to enhance usability. Things are now structured in AJAX-driven tabs, and the whole module has been given the good 'ol CSS treatment.
You can take a peak at the new site statistics interface here.
I haven't decided at this point if I am going to eventually merge the referral log (from some admin tool) into the stats area directly or if they will remain separate. Since they seem quite interrelated, I am leaning towards combining the referral log into this area somehow.
I also intend on adding graphs (and counts) for the number of new items and the number of new comments each day - oh, and the number of new members since that is often relevant on many community based sites. If you have any suggestions on things you'd like to see represented in the site statistics page, send me your suggestions and they may be added in time for the upcoming stable release!
Oh, and you (as an administrator of a Theia site) will also be able to set the permissions for which member classes (if any) are allowed to see each bit of statistical data, since it's highly probable many folks won't want everyone seeing this sort of data.
