Theia 1.0.0b5 release date & info « home

First of all, I thought I'd mention the date, which is:
September 15th, 2009
After this version there will be either only one (or, less likely, two) more beta version(s) before the stable version is released!
I still haven't decided on an exact date for Theia 1.0.0 stable, but it should happen this year (I'm thinking around, or on Christmas).
Anyhow, here are some things that you can expect in the next version:
- additional features on the home page, and all home settings are much more configurable now since you can turn them on or off for certain people
- improvements to friendship system; finally a way to stop being friends, as well as the ability to create friend groups (family, school, work, etc..); suggestions are still encouraged!
- full language pack management in the admin panel of tools; currently only custom language options can be controlled in with the provided tools, but I would like to start using xml files for language files (instead of php files or mysql); since this is one of the most serious things on the list of hurdles to take down before 1.0.0 stable, I thought I should focus on one of these with this version, so the language management will be it
- improvements to club system; club owner will be able to design a club main page in html, and integration with the calendar system so that each club can have its own list of events; suggestions here are also still encouraged!
Obviously, lots of little things will also be added and fixed in the process as well. If you know of any bugs, please report them so they can be fixed as soon as possible. And if you have feature requests, there is still a possibility that they will be used in the next version!
