Like I said in the last blog entry here, the site is being massive overhauled. The new theme is in place, though there are still some minor tweaks and improvements I need to do.

I've also made some additional coding updates today to Theia's Text class, which will allow simple IF statements in the next release of Theia. Right now I'm already using this to only show the long section listing (on the left side) when you are already viewing one of the sections (or an item for one of the sections) relating to Theia.

Here is how the syntax will look:

THEIA CODE
[IF.SOURCE=1|2|5|23]some data that only gets presented if page viewed is part of one the specified section types[/ENDIF]

This code will be interpreted in the template files, or the primary or secondary navigation panes.

I've also begun coding a feature I've wanted to include by the stable release of Theia - a menu manager for creating custom navigation menus. It's pretty simple right now, though it is at least working enough to generate the menus dynamically - it works using XML data (stored in mySQL) to generate the navigation head, links, and - eventually - sub links. I've wanted to include navigation menus with link hierarchies, so I will figure out the best way to implement this within this custom menu builder soon.

Oh, and you should also see I FINALLY bothered to add a page with some of the sites I've designed and applications I've coded. I have neglected this for far too long. I will try and get additional references added as time permits, and as I complete the projects! ;)
