Although I'm not completely finished with what I had in mind just yet, the basic core of it is all working now. Everyone can check it out here:

It may seem reminiscent of Twitter, but if you login, you will see you also have the ability to comment on updates.

All commenting, updating and management is handled through various AJAX calls, so it is a very easy to use system.

What I still haven't done yet is work out the system of how you track other people, and generate the query that selects only records from the respective members.

I'd also like to add a new notification to inform you when someone comments on one of your updates.

Finally, I think I need to create a few "services" to specify things like who can post updates, post replies, etc.

All this added support will be included in Theia 1.0.0b4, scheduled for August 15th!
